City of Wilmington Building and Zoning Department

The City of Wilmington Building Department is responsible for the enforcement of the Building, Electrical, and Mechanical codes. The department administers the issuance of all related permits and certificates of occupancy. In addition, the department is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the zoning and subdivision regulations.
