This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the most dynamic, engaging, and community-oriented Port Authorities in the United States.  Specifically charged with economic development and job creation, Port Authorities in Ohio have significant legal authority to encourage and enhance economic development opportunities for businesses to start and grow.

Position offers a minimum salary of $140,000 plus excellent benefits. Bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of experience in executive level leadership positions related directly to economic and community development, is required.

Economic Development Director

Individual serves as an action-oriented project professional who works to proactively identify, initiate and execute economic development opportunities for existing and prospective businesses in Clinton County. The individual shall report to the Executive Director and work closely with other staff members of the Clinton County Port Authority, as well as other economic development/community development agencies and units of government within Clinton County, the Dayton Region, and the State of Ohio.
