Beth Huber

Beth Huber was named Associate Director of the Clinton County Port Authority in October of 2010. She works with day-to-day operations of the Air Park, which includes over 1,900 acres of land, nearly three million square feet of building space, and two active commercial runways. She is involved with grant administration, potential tenant tours, and other aspects of growing the activity at the Wilmington Air Park and for the Clinton County Port Authority. Additionally, Beth supports the operations of the Clinton County Port Authority and led a team of government and community officials during the DHL/Wilmington Air Park transition, which included managing the infrastructure, working with regulatory agencies and community relations.

Prior to working with the Port Authority, Beth was employed at ABX Air, Inc. in Community and Public Relations where she directed aspects associated to ABX Air’s business communications including overseeing management and creative teams and was appointed as ABX Air’s company representative. As a member of the Public Relations Society of America and with her expertise in community relations at the local and national level, Beth has taught as an adjunct instructor at Wilmington College in both the Communication Department and the Business Department.

Beth has served as an Assistant Governor for Rotary International District 6670, and is currently a District Chairperson. She has served with the Wilmington Rotary Club as a board member and as President. She has been an instructor for PETS — a Rotary orientation program — and worked with the annual district speech contest. Beth also is active in the community through the Clinton County Leadership Institute. She is a past president and past board member and most recently worked with the Dinner in the Fields project.

She received her Ohio Economic Development Institute certification in 2019. She is a recipient of the Silver APEX award and Wings of Excellence award from Airborne Express/ABX, has earned the Outstanding Community Leader award from the Clinton County Leadership Institute, and the Exemplary Service Award from the Wilmington/Clinton County Chamber of Commerce. She was a co-recipient of a PRSA Blacksmith Award in the Cincinnati region.

Beth holds a Masters’ degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with concentrations in Management and Adult Education. Her undergraduate degree in Communications is from Wilmington College.
